Overview

ServiceNow includes features that support several specifications in Section 508 of the US compliance code to make the interface accessible to users with disabilities. For information about using accessibility features, see Setting Up Section 508 Accessibility.

Accessibility Support

ServiceNow products are developed with the goal of adhering to the following accessibility guidelines and principles. The Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) document for each release notes many accessibility features and limitations.

  • Section 508 Amendment to the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA

ServiceNow products are tested with the following assistive technologies.

Section 508 VPAT Documents

Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) documents detail accessibility features according to Section 508 standards. VPAT documents are available for multiple releases of ServiceNow.
